The problem with the parking spots are:Ī) They are badly placed. I wonder why Rockstar did not stick with the classic GTA style of saving vehicles in a garage. I play GTA IV version 1.0.4, because all other versions, including the latest 1.0.7 give low performance.Īlso, I didn't store any police vehicle, just normal vehicles, and it's kinda weird, that EVERY time an NPC will push my ride away, 1 or 2 times this theory is acceptable, but every time I autosave and load that save, and Abracadabra, the car or bike is vanished!! an NPC action, random cars pushing it or a cop putting in a thug so many times sounds ridiculous. But yeah, sometimes the cops steal your own parked Vehicles in the parking spots to either chase YOU or another criminal and sometimes they even arrest them and put them in your Vehicle, especially if you store a Police Vehicle. I've lost Vehicles I have stored in all 3 of the IV Era GTA Games, however, since I back up stuff all the time on my USB Drive, I never officially lose a Vehicle for good since I got a backup at all times. I recommend just turning it off and ALWAYS playing WITHOUT it on. Autosave is a disaster to the Series, imo. This goes for GTA IV, TLaD, TBoGT, and V. Personally, I choose to turn Autosave OFF.
