Sandisk mp4 m3u file format not supported

I’m sorry for yet another post on this topic but I really need some help.

I just bought a new Clip Sport Plus (update 2.02 installed) and have been struggling with the empty playlist problem that so many seem to be experiencing with various Sandisk MP3 players.
